Ingredients (per daily dose of 6 ml):
- Andrographis (Andrographis paniculata) – whole plant: 2,400 mg
- Motherwort (Leonurus cardiaca) – whole plant: 750 mg
- Passionflower (Passiflora incarnata) – whole plant: 750 mg
- Chinese skullcap (Scutellaria baicalensis) – root: 500 mg
- Isatis (Isatis tinctoria) – root: 500 mg
- Licorice (Glycyrrhiza glabra) – root: 500 mg
- Cordyceps (Cordyceps militaris) – mycelium: 375 mg
- Rhodiola (Rhodiola rosea) – root: 375 mg
- Ethanol 65 % vol., pure water.
Recommended dosage:
After shaking, add 66 drops of the tincture (approx. 2 ml) to water or another beverage and take 3× daily before meals.
To assess your individual sensitivity to the ingredients, start with very small test doses (e.g., 10 drops per day). If well tolerated, gradually increase to the full dosage over approximately 10 days.
The dosage according to Mr. Buhner is approximately 2 times higher.
After 3 weeks of use, a 1-week break is recommended.
Herxheimer reaction:
While using the product, a Herxheimer reaction may occur – a temporary worsening of symptoms caused by the breakdown of pathogens in the body. This is normal and expected.
- For a mild reaction, continue with the original dose and increase detoxification.
- For a moderate reaction, reduce the dosage and increase detoxification.
- For a severe reaction, stop use and proceed very cautiously, focusing on detoxification.
Recommended additions according to the Buhner Protocol in addition to EBV-ELIX:
- Fresh ginger tea or ginger juice: 3–6× daily – made from fresh, not dried ginger
Simultaneous use of EBV-ELIX with the BORELISET package:
EBV-ELIX can also be taken simultaneously with BORELISET for Lyme disease. Since both products contain 3 identical herbs, care must be taken to ensure that no double intake of these overlapping herbs occurs. Therefore, we recommend using the dosage stated on the packaging for both products, which is approximately half of the full Buhner dosage.
Some of the herbs in EBV-ELIX and BORELISET need to be paused after a certain period of time, therefore we recommend following the intake and rotation schedule below:
Simultaneous use of EBV-ELIX with other elixirs:
EBV-ELIX can also be taken simultaneously with our tincture elixirs. Since these elixirs often contain several identical herbs, care must be taken to ensure that no double intake occurs. In such cases, we recommend using the dosage stated on the packaging, which is lower than the full Buhner dosage.
We do not recommend taking 3 or more elixirs simultaneously to avoid multiple intakes of overlapping herbs.

Good to know:
Due to natural variations in growing and processing conditions of the herbs (location, season, etc.), each batch may vary slightly in color or taste. This is normal and does not affect the efficacy. With tinctures, sediment may form and slight cloudiness may occur – a natural phenomenon that does not affect the quality or effectiveness of the product.
